Waiting

It is the first week of advent. Christmas is fast approaching. I was in a mass a while ago and the sermon was about waiting. Yes, it was true that the state of waiting was always acompanied by exhaustion, confusion, doubts, anxiety, uncertainty. But we should not be consumed by these negative feelings instead we should take this time as an opportunity to reflect and to prepare. All of us had experienced the agony of waiting. But waiting was not simply about waiting.It was more of the character that we have become through waiting.After all, i believe, it was worth it..especially those that our heart had desired most. =)
