Biyahera!

One of my dreams in life is to be able to travel to different places. I promised myself that one day i would travel the whole Philippines. =) But I think I have to secure the budget first =) Papalitan ko na si Drew Arellano sa programang "Balikbayan" (Hindi ako sigurado kung ito yung title ng programa hehehe) I imagined myself taking pictures , at the same time, learning about the culture of those beautiful places. Sabi nga nila "huwag maging dayuhan sa sariling bayan".
I encountered this article about the new seven wonders of the world. The pictures in the article really made my eyes roll. These are the new seven wonders of the world: Great wall of China, Petra of Jordan, Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, Chichen Itza of Mexico, Roman Colesseum, Taj Mahal of India and Great Pyramid.

The pictures below are the places that are on top of my list =) (Akala mo naman mapupuntahan agad lahat eh)

St. Peter's Basilica
Dream ni Tatay (my lolo) to go here. He's such a religious person. I wish we could go there together. But i know he's happy right now with our Lord. (Miss you tatay! )
Christ the Redeemer of Brazil
This statue is a very important symbol of Christianity in Brazil.
The Golden Gate Bridge
Sarap siguro mag roadtrip dito lol! =)
The Grand Canyon
Sarap siguro mag picnic dito lol! (Panu ko kaya gagawin yun?!)
Aurora Borealis a.k.a The Northern lights
Kailangan ko muna masanay sa extreme coldness before i get to see this phenomenon =)
The Taj Mahal
Love is so powerful. Ito lang po ang masasabi ko =)
I read a very inspiring line from the book "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarden" by Robert Fulghum. The line went like this "..if the dream is held close at hand and imagination is applied to what there is close at hand, everything is still possible." Well then i held on to this dream... to someday travel the whole world naks! =) hehehe. But what im thankful for is the people around me who are ready to join me on this journey called life. The most exciting trip we could ever have. =)

Just Say It

My Feet touching the brim
Breeze waking my skin
What if I fell into your lips
Will it be ok?

That stare, I've seen so many times
Still I find myself afraid
What if those eyes capture me
Will it be ok?

Frozen hands rest in my pocket
Road leads me nowhere
What if I sit beside you
Will it be ok?

Star,so many of them
Invites me to gaze up
What if we look at it together
Will it be ok?

Please just say yes..

* I wrote this poem while i was listening to Gabe Bondoc. I was watching his cover of "i just want you" in youtube. =) Nice song, nice cover.

Sikretong Malupet!

I really admired those people, who despite all the problems in life were still able to smile. These were the people who could even appreciate life even in the midst of hardship. Their auras were really different and you could observe the wisdom in their brief remarks. I felt ashamed of myself when i remembered my complaints when I experienced difficulties. There was this one tagalog line in a tv serye that caught my attention. The line went like this "Lahat ng Problema ay may solusyon.Kung wala itong solusyon hindi yan problema. Pero minsan dapat alam mo ang laban mo para hindi ka maubos.Minsan kasi may mga bagay na hindi mo na pala dapat pang ipaglaban at problemanhin." Sometimes,we just had to learn how to accept things and to move on. Struggling was one aspect in life.We could not get all the we wanted. Learn to have dreams and learn to set your goals.Work hard for it. If you fail, well that was normal.Don't dwell too much on something. After all you would not be able to carry it when you die.

Mayroon pang isa, yung "Talk to Papa". Kapag napakinggan mo tlga sila masasabi mo- "laughter is truly the best medicine!" hehehe. After all, life must go on! = )

Dreams were made to be weird.

Dreams, they say, were manifestation of emotions or sentiments that most of the time were hidden within us. The events that were  formed during this brain activity were like slides that were being flashed continuously. There were different plots and so it seemed that the story was so vague after all. Yes, dreams were weird most of the time. ( for me lol =))

There was this dream of mine where in I saw myself flying. Then suddenly I felt I was falling. Basta minsan weird tlga.

The Night I Forgot How To Make Paper Boat

I was sitting in front of my desk last night when I decided to make a paper boat. I used to make lots of paper boat when I was a kid. Making these tiny boats was one of my ways to fill up my spear time. I put lots of designs to it and wrote names on its sides. The memories came rushing into my brain and that triggered my craving to create one this time, after a long, long time. I got a blank paper and brought it into my desk. The blankness of the paper and its smoothness made my nerves erratic. I panic for some time and it finally hit me- I couldn’t remember how to make a paper boat. The one thing I used to spent half of my time doing. I relaxed my body and breathe slowly. I asked my brother, who was sitting across, and somehow he got bothered by my question. He got up and took away my paper and showed me the different folds. Then fortunately I could sense the blood coming back into my veins. Yes, I remembered how to make my own lovely boats =)
It was really scary to be in situation when you forgot the things that you have assumed were written in your hearts for so long. Things that you least expect to be forgotten by you. But once you find your way it really brings you joy. Maybe there were times in our lives that we got to deviate from the right track. We forget who we really are and that truly brings us disappointments. But then again, we always find our way back..back to where our hearts truly belongs. There is no such thing as too late. If one really wants it then time is on his side. And maybe it is not too late for you to make your own paper boat. The one we all used to create when we were kids =)
P.S. I really enjoyed my lovely boats lol! =)
